Question about my Dynastar skis?

Hi, this is a bit stupid, but I bought new skis and boots (I have not used yet but the plan for tomorrow) and I was the man in the shop http://store02.prostores.com/servlet/wintersales/the-114/NEW-Dynastar-Starlett-skis/Detail said ski I am short (5'1, 120 pounds) that could lead to a young ski? Does that sound weird? Was he trying to sell me them? I worry that because they are young they called bikes are not suitable for adults? I am an intermediate skier, has been skiing since I was 5 years, I am now 23. My boots are adults? Any idea? Thanks!

It is not strange at all. Young ski for softer absorb shock and actually be a ski more forgiving of their total weight. Unless you are an expert skier, you will be fine for you. Do not worry about labeling is not what works best for you and your skill level. I skied over 35 years and now I ride on. However, they still pulled on skis as well. I ski and board "Diamonds", but enjoy the "Blue" is running these days with my friends and family.
