The Nokia N85 is a two way opening slider phone that allows the user to access the keypad in one direction & in the other direction to access the media controls. The user can control menu selections by using the smoothly operated Navi wheel control. A large 2.6 Inches QVGA screen displays up to 16.7 million colours and screen comes with a light detector & a brightness control that allows viewing the screen in duller lighting conditions as well as in brighter environments. The N85 works on a Symbian operating system version 9.3 with S60 software that includes 74 megabytes of internal memory plus supports up to eight gigabytes of expandable memory. The built in 3G HSDPA technology provides high speed Internet connectivity & built in WiFi technology provides the user wireless access to the internet. The user can also connect to other devices by using either a USB cabled connection or a Bluetooth wireless connection for data transfers. The user can get directions on their phone by using the built in GPS navigation system. Nokia N85 is a quad band technology phone that covers World Wide roaming & supports the built in Internet browser complete with a mini maps feature. This Smartphone comes with various messaging services including mobile email service, text messaging complete with predictive text input method and MMS service. Two popular touch phones with music edition like Nokia 5800 Xpressmusic Blue and Red.
The user can use the voice over IP Internet call feature, hands free speaker phone feature, push to talk call feature & flight mode feature on this phone. The built in five megapixel camera feature complete with a CMOS sensor & a twenty times digital zoom function allows the user to capture their pictures in still mode, sequence mode, self time mode or video mode. The phone supports video recording, playing, streaming & blogging features. An integrated FM radio feature complete with radio RDS information feature & music player with dedicated music keys & volume controls provides the user music on this phone.
